Company arranged for the knitting and photography of new sample. Company of course kept the new sample, but permitted me to use their photos wherever I wished. A sales spike accompanied the promotion in the catalogue. Another spike happened several years later when company featured this pattern in their blog

Anything else you would like others to know about your experience with this company? Very good experience. Company knit the sample (and showed it to me to make sure it was right), all I had to do was write the pattern and answer the sample knitters questions. The contract said something like ‘your rights revert to you 6 months after publication or on Specific Date, whichever comes first’ (meaning that even if they publish late, I still get the rights back when I expect to. Paid right on time, and I get the rights back quickly. I can’t say enough good things about the experience and would happily work with them again.
